Victoria Wurdinger is an award-winning writer and researcher who specializes in beauty, business and wellness.

Her State of the Professional Haircare Market, originally appearing in DCI and now in Modern Salon magazine, has become the essential annual report on the salon industry for venture capitalists and industry insiders alike. As a columnist, she has written about new technology, and her articles on the health-care concerns of small businesses brought notice from as far away as Germany

Her work has appeared in dozens of publications, among them Longevity, Color and Style, Drug Store News, Beauty Digest, DCI, Art Business News, Celebrity Hairstyles, Source 2000 Market Guide, Modern Salon, British Hairdressers Journal, Top Hair, Beauty Store Business, Salon Today, Day Spa, Studio, Laundry Today and Nails. Her travels to salons have taken her from Miami to Moscow, New York to Paris.

Additionally, Victoria has developed educational programs and promotional materials for several major beauty care manufacturers, including ARTec, Clairol, Redken, Rusk and Tocco Magico. As a commercial writer, she was selected to write the packaging and promotional copy for Joan Rivers' infomercial-sold skin care line, Fundamentals.

Victoria has authored several books, including Competition Hairdesign, The Photo Session Handbook, 101 Quick Fixes for Bad Hair Days, The Eric Fisher Salon Training Notebook and Multicultural Markets. For the latter, she conducted extensive historical research, sometimes working with Spanish translators to explore early methods of hair styling in the Latino community. Multicultural Markets contains the never-before-published history of ethnic beauty culture in the United States.
